Gundog Puppy Evening Classes (All breeds)

If you've got a gundog puppy and want to get started with training asap, our Gundog Puppy training classes cover all the basic gundog behaviours and handling skills you will need to develop an excellent foundation. 

Whether you are looking for a well-behaved and happy pet gundog, if you wish to continue your gundog training hobby, or want to progress further to working your dog on a shoot, this evening class is for you. 

The classes are designed for owners, both experienced and inexperienced with a new puppy, to prepare for their gundog journey by learning the basic skills to set themselves up for the next stage in their training. 

Open to all breeds of gundog, plus any crossbreeds or other breeds that have a drive for retrieving and hunting. 

Our Gundog Puppy classes are the best to start your gundog training, whether this is your first pet gundog breed or your tenth working gundog puppy.

Our Gundog Puppy evening classes, led by Leanne, are suitable for...

• Puppies aged from 12 weeks to 6 months old. 
• Puppies who have had their vaccinations.
• All breeds of dog (not just gundogs) or crossbreeds that have a desire for retrieving and hunting.
• Anyone who is a complete beginner and has not done any gundog training before.
• Pet gundog owners who would like to learn how to manage their puppy during the early stages.
• Owners who are looking to learn new methods and approaches to train the skills for basic behaviours in preparation for specific gundog training.
• Those wishing to work towards The Gundog Club Grade 1.
  
• Those looking to eventually work their gundog on a shoot (beating and picking up).

Our Gundog Puppy evening classes are held weekly.

Our classes will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7:15pm (see above for dates). Each week, the tasks will progress from the week before. To get the most from this course, you will need to attend all classes. Group numbers are limited to 6dogs and handlers.
