Hunting 121 with Lynsey Moss

In these two-hour sessions, dogs will be working on game-populated ground with the sound of shot.

It is an ideal opportunity to proof behaviours in a highly distracting environment and, depending on the conditions, handlers will also be able to work on more advanced gundogs skills such as stop to shot, stop to flush, and for the HPR breeds, pointing. 

Our Hunting 121s with Lynsey are suitable for:

• Gundogs who are not yet ready for their first shoot day but are ready to progress their training on live game scent and movement.
• Gundogs who have worked on a shoot but would benefit from dedicated training to tighten up game-related behaviours, such as controlled hunting, stop to flush and stop to shot.
• Pet gundogs who do not need to work on a shoot but would benefit from practising recall and other obedience behaviours in heavily game-scented ground.
• All breeds of gundog, including retrievers, spaniels and HPRs, plus any crossbreeds or non-gundog breeds that will be worked on a shoot.
• Gundogs working at an intermediate or advanced level only.

Your dog MUST have been exposed to shot before attending.

Please note: As we cannot control nature, each session will be realistic and unscripted and we cannot guarantee anything. Starter pistols will be used and no game will be shot.
